Fingers crossed - he’d be an excellent addition to the pack.

as much as I cant see this happening at all it would be an outstanding signing, Mago would be the one out the door surely?

Would be extraordinarily surprised if this is true even if Bateman is out the door

hes 33 (would be 34 at start of next season) contracted to end of 2023 which means we will have to pay to get him, the only way i see that being possible is if we offer him 2-3 years which he probably wont get in the NRL at his age

Has been a great player and seems to like it in the U.K. My only worry would be his discipline, he could spend half the season banned. Overall though would be very impressed with this if it happened. I think that our group of props as it stands (if all played to their form of last season) are not quite good enough to win the GF. We can realistically hope that Havard and Byrne will continue to improve but Singo has reached his level. Mago may or may not get fitter and I don't know about Ellis, I was disappointed that his form seemed to tail off. Perhaps Mago and Ellis will improve in their second year, it's happened before.
Adding Warea-Hargreaves to this group even if we lost one of the older players would be a big improvement.

JWH would be a cracking signing but my preference would be to sign a younger prop - Luke Thompson who has plenty of miles in his tank yet.
