FRESH allegations have emerged from the alleged fracas between England World Cup star Victor Radley and Ireland international James Bentley.

The Sydney Morning Herald broke the news that the two had been involved in an alleged bust-up at the England team hotel with Bentley allegedly the instigator.

The Sydney Morning Herald has also reported that England Rugby League officials threatened to call the police on Bentley if he didn’t leave the premises at a hotel that Radley and a number of other England stars were at.

Now fresh details have emerged, alleging that Bentley attempted to attack England coach Shaun Wane before going after Radley, the Daily Telegraph has reported.

The publication also reported that Bentley was left worse for wear following an alleged head butt from Radley, with the Leeds man allegedly angry that he had not been chosen for the England side for the World Cup.

Both the World Cup organisers and the RFL are investigating the matter.

The Rugby League World Cup is aware of reported incidents and is in conversation with the respective parties to establish the circumstances,” a RLWC2021 spokesperson said. “There will be no further comment at this time

Had to have a little chuckle when I read he was worse for wear, sounds like he got his just deserves.
And complaining about not making the squad, he’s made sure he will never get picked especially if Wane stays in charge.
Bentley doesn’t sound the very bright
On what occasion has Bentley ever seemed like one of life’s great thinkers…

How dare you all denigrate a born-and-bred Morley lad, based purely on tittle-tattle?

Has anyone thought to ask what the England squad were playing at, booking into the very hotel where the innocent young Bentley was consoling himself after being so harshly rejected?

I'm sure, if you sit down and think about it, you'll all be ashamed of yourselves for jumping to conclusions and maligning this young man of such previous unblemished character.

If anyone wants to join us, me and my mum are going round to Shaun Wanes tonight to see why he didn’t pick us. If Bentleys entitled to know then so are we!

The outcome of the investigation will be a good read, so will the response from his club and the disciplinary action they will take.

brushed under the carpet no doubt at club level. he wasnt on club duty or representing the club, so nowt to do with us

At England level, not a chance he'll get picked whilst Waney is in charge, and good chance that'll be applied to anyone who takes over from him

If its true and a player has openly gone put of their way to abuse a coach they shouldn't play again.

There's a difference between having a fallout with a rival player and demesne who isn't an active sportsman (none are right but one is a cretin move)

With Radley being involved I wonder if his nationality was involved.
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.
