What is it with Karl Pryce & now Keith Mason putting their two penneth in these last few days?
1. Encouraging young players to go to the NRL (both)
2. What IMG should make changes to in SL (Pryce)
3. The problem with licensing! (Pryce)
4. Whether Shaun Wane should be kept on as England coach (Mason)
5. Four teams that will challenge for SL title (Mason)
You never hear from them then all of a sudden they’re all over the place!

Ex SL players opinions!
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

what should we be doing to move the game over here forwards etc etc. They are the ones putting their bodies on the line week in week out (or have done), so why not get their input into what we should continue to do and what could / should change.
i get what you are saying in relation to the 2 you have named, as they both currently have a vested interest in their sons futures, but i still think we should be looking to get their views and opinions, especially on SL and what can be done to reduce / prevent movements to the NRL (may not stop it)

Yes, I do agree with you Pieman on getting ex players involved with promoting the game, but these two players, as you say, involved with son & nephew, would not be two names that springs to mind when you think about Rugby League. Where have they been since they stopped playing?
Okay, Mason has been trying to get into acting & similar to his RL, not very successful at it
Pryce, I thought he’d emigrated …. to the moon or something

I always find certain average past players and coaches are best at being vocal and or articulate....Paul Cullen springs to mind!

Re: Ex SL players opinions!
I think saying Mason didn't have a successful rl career is a little unfair. The guy played over 250 games in the super league and a few in the NRL.
Absolute clown but I'd be proud to have achieved what he has in the game
