Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Needs to go back to reffing under 10s, no idea how to control a professional game ,Ganson should have gone 5 years ago and this is the result.

Micky Mac reffed that game. Dictated the pace all night and slowed it down.

Dismally slow p-t-b, and this practice of players just standing, or lying, in the ruck without making the slightest effort to clear it just has to be clamped down on.

Spot on moto . The referee did nowt to speed up the PTB allowing Catalans to slow everything down . Why wouldn't they if the referee allows them to . RL should do at the PTB what Union do at the ruck . If you make no effort to move away automatic penalty.

He was beyond awful, although it didn't affect the result. Failing to send Keighran to the sinbin for a professional foul was bad enough but to allow Isa to stay on the field with blood streaming was criminal. It was dangerous for the player and also for anyone he tackled.

Well said, what's worse if the ref was struggling he had laughing boy Kendal on the line why not ask for advice on the tempestuous calls?

It annoys me so much. Refs are happy to penalise (often quite marginal) decisions on lying on in the tackle, and yet malingering in the ruck and preventing the dummy-half from getting a quick pass away goes routinely unpunished.
