Got something to discuss about RL in general? Then this is the place to post it.

So that tackle was the worst thing that happened all weekend? They really haven't got a clue, have they?

Is he able to use the reserve game this weekend as one of them?

surely the disciplinary committee loses legitimacy, is there any way where this process can be rejected in its current form?

Presume 2 match penalty notice means 2 match ban. It wasn’t malicious/intentional it was momentum.

Willie Isa Banned (again)

Post by Bob the Builder »

Two matches this time. Unbelievable! Pity Shaun Wane couldn't put him in England squad to use up one of those games. Rugby League is going soft ☹️☹️ we'll have no players left soon at this rate. It's not a long season but the judiciary panel seem intent on players missing most of the season through soft bans. He was sin binned for a full bloodied tackle (which was harsh) nothing more should be done. Get over it and play on.

I've always taken the view that bans should be applied really for serious foul play, cheap shots and the like. In this case, I can't think that there was any thought of recklessness either, there was no question of the player being landed on his head or neck.

To be fair, I don't imagine Bowes thinks rugby league is going soft! :D

I have been saying it for some time now, but if tackles like the one Isa made are going to be banned, then the game will be touch / tag rugby within 5 years.
The snowflakes have taken over our once great game.

Have a look at the video in the tweet below, and the wording of the charge is dangerous throw

It’s because he lets go if the player and throws him down, so is not in control of the tackle.
