i dont think he's been rushed, it was only mentioned as a maybe dependent upon specialist results ... unfortunately its not to be the case = just bad injuries that take time = time we dont have. not necessarily makin pack weaker coz we've not had him anyway!!
it may be time to cut losses
We now have fletcher back - with Hansen and Tickle we already have three second rows and whilst we might not be playing very well at the moment I don't think that we should be looking to get rid of him yet just because he hasn't played.

Fletcher is likely to retire or return home at the end of his contract and so selling one of our genuinely most promising players when we have perservered for this long would be a bit silly. You can bet you life savings that if we sell him on he will come back to haunt us!

Frano: I don't know why I would ever want to go to St Helens or Leeds

id have moran at 7 still. if we are ever going to get our moneys worth out of moran and orr then we need to start playing them together for about 10 games or so to see how they get on. towards the end of last season they played very good so i think they at least should get a chance to properly play together again. thats the only way we will get the best from them.

granted yes but if ashton can be dropped for playing well & with confidence surely moran should be dropped for a forced weak game on friday ... surely if not performin then bein dropped should happen to give a kick up the rear!!

Gareth Hock is a brilliant player and IMO has the ability to challenge any Aussie forward. Truly gutted.

I agree with you here. Before his injury he was playing brilliantly. Just hope that he gets back to the form he was in at the start of last year.

Which is exactly the reason why we should not have signed him in the first place!!!

He will then be able to join the long list of players who have retired playing for us recently.

We ought not to be a retirement club.

Simply by watching him play. He has the size, strength, athleticism and more importantly brilliant handling/offloading skills. He had shown that very often and his displays prior to injury were outstanding. Talk to any coach, not just IM and you will see just how highly Hock is rated.

Hock is the real deal and will compete with Aussies on equal terms and not be dominated like so called legends such as Betts and possibly Goodway were.
