Or even better
The WRP aka Wigan Robin Park stadium
And I would rename all four stands
West the new Boston stand
East the Jim Sullivan stand
South the Ken Gee stand
North the Dean bell stand (aka the bell end apt especially when wire and saints fans are our visitors)
wigans turning blue- my arse

Riverside Stadium for me if no sponsors on the table.
Riverside Stadium = Middlesbrough football club.
Craven Park - Barrow & Hull KR
Touché but KR is now called something else I think. The Craven Street thing they have at one end was very good when we went first game of season

That's definitely a none starter meds far to many obstacles regarding size/planning ect
It can be done, the club has been given an estimate of around £30m. Planning permission may be a stumbling block though.
Planning is not only issues it involves the lands suitability to build stadium on
They have carried out a feasibility study and it is doable.

That's what I was told, £30m plan for the place with a contingency plan of playing at Bolton for a short period if Latics go bust

I like Bolton's stadium. What about a permanent move there? Easy access to the M61/2, with only Wire and Saints away fans having further to travel. Nearer home for Matty Peet, and easier for Wigan's army of Yorkshire-based fans to get to!

Of course they'd have to rename the Carr's Pasties stand as Carr's Pies, but the Nat Lofthouse name could stay, as the Lion of Vienna was a big Wigan fan.

Didn't know that. Good news then always thought that was the worst swamp land with sewage plant and gant overspill dw has terrible drainage and that was put on best spot at the time. After site drilling.
