Don't be ridiculous. Of course it is. Just because you can go on back field and kick a few balls over . It's an ability and hard one at that.

Do we have an attack coach?. Whoever it is needs to be replaced because we might as well hand the ball over when we get in their 25. We have field and French probably the most dangerous attackers one on one and yet from a set scrum we can’t even put a move on.

No chance of a grand final spot because our attack is pathetic. And if we don’t get a 6 for next season it will be more of the same because unfortunately Bevan is not the answer. Big decision needs to be made can we afford Field and French in the same team? Because Miski seemed to be our best metre maker certainly is an handful.

What about rest of team stupid penalties poor decisions not many came out of last night with any honour. But we need weekly scapegoat.

Oh by the way who kicked WINNING drop goal.
He spoke last night after game and he wasn't at all happy with himself. I felt sorry for him. But he's a young lad doing 2 of hardest pressure jobs on pitch. Give lad a break. Don't see any other players stepping up to goal kick. Or peet protecting him from all this. No it's because we need a scapegoat and why everyone is concerned with Smith kicking there going away from the blatant obvious our none existent clueless attack and discipline. The problem lies with coaching staff imo not players

Got slated when I said this a couple of weeks ago, but I'll say it again...Peet is not all that as a coach. We will not improve under his term in charge. He might be a nice guy who can motivate his players /friends....but tactically and particularly attack-wise, he is not good enough...

At the end of the game when the players were walking around the pitch Powell and French were some way behind the rest with Powell appearing to very animatedly get across to French some tactical details.

I also noticed that we have changed our pre-match warm up. Normally all 21 named in the squad are involved, last night only 19 players were involved. The warm up also looked to be 5-10 mins shorter than usual.

And you base your logic on? Genuine question as you sound in the know.

People are saying we are clueless in attack but we had 5 poetntial tries that we messed up. We had plenty of opportunity the player skill wasn't where I needed to be.

Marshall failed to collecta Smith kick
Field missed the ball on the ground
King knocked on when catching
Miski fell over when he had a clear run
The "forward" pass from Field

I thought that us the worst I have seen wigan play in years but we still broke Hull down we just lacked the completion.
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

Not logic, and I'm certainly not in the know, but simply my opinion....
I'm of that generation that was spoiled by having started watching Wigan in the mid 70s, and then watched our rise to dominance in the mid 80s to the mid 90s, so maybe I'm looking for something that I won't see again in my lifetime. I just don't think that Peet even knows who to play where sometimes, let alone direct meaningful attacks...

One thing - a small positive amid a forgettable at best performance - was that it’s good to have 2 specialists playing centre. Clearly we need a 6 and another second row, and then we can properly assess how good Matty P is. Our ability to attack is stymied by the players we have there - especially in bad weather - rather than, in my opinion, poor coaching.
