French is top of the list for try assists and sixth for tries scored, that's a very good return/combination.

As to criticising Peet, I think he deserves some. His job doesn’t end once he picked the team and sent them onto the pitch at the start of the game. Far too often the team has been playing poorly and continues to do so all game with whatever he says at half time having zero effect. The attack ,has stuttered all season and if French or Field don’t pull something off there don’t seem to be any other ideas and this hasn’t been improved upon either.
Truth is though ever since French and Field came along that's been plan a,b and c and if that don't work then Wigan are in trouble,I don't feel you're wrong over the side stuttering something has been amiss all season long as you say but what it is I'm not sure is it to way to say Briers, and I do think that's had a big effect but that's just me,as I say I don't know the answer but Peet has a big season coming up I fear it'll be a saints v Catalan GF so must be planning for next year now.

I disagree on the plan A b and c part and if we suddenly didn't have both I don't think we would suddenly struggle we would adapt.

Thats because all teams with star players push the attack plays through them and ones without have to be more Conservative.

Bowen was the go to when he was hear we adapted when he was out a match

For years we put everything through Burgess and manfredi/marshall but didn't suffer when they where out.
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

That doesn’t make him a good halfback.

French - 2
Miski - 3

Keighran - 6

I am ready to be put in my place for this suggestion but French is not a 6, Miski has the ‘best of the rest’ attributes as a centre and Keighran can play 6 comfortably.

I hide away!😬

You are presuming that King returns to Wire or we don’t sign another centre.

Am I right in thinking the only news about King going back to Wire is Jon Wells mentioning it on Sky a while back? Nothing 'properly' official yet? Unless I've missed it 😅

How many 28 year old wingers have made the switch to centre without any prior experience in the position?

It’s one of the hardest positions to truly master and a huge no from me.

Unless we sign King he is going back to Warrington. The status quo is that he is going, so no announcement means he is leaving. Miski is a winger, and has turned into a good one. Centre is a very difficult position to play in, and we need 2 specialist centres.
