Post by moto748 »

Who's watching? Who do you fancy to get through the first round?

Friday 8th September
Brisbane vs Melbourne (Suncorp Stadium - 19:50)

Saturday 9th September
Penrith vs New Zealand (BlueBet Stadium - 16:05)
Cronulla-Sutherland vs Sydney Roosters (PointsBet Stadium - 19:50)

Sunday 10th September
Newcastle vs Canberra ([McDonald Jones Stadium- 16:05)

I'm going:

Storm (tough call!)
Penrith
Sharks
Knights

What happened to him?
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

First game back after 12 months out. Tragic.

Terrible for the lad, Storm lost 4 players in about 3 minutes, Coates with an ankle/leg injury, and a double head clash.

Storm were very poor. I can’t see past Penrith.

I actually fancied them for this, cos as I said, if there's a "Never write off the ******s" side in the NRL, it's surely Melbourne. But they were well below par, poor discipline, Munster didn't cover himself with glory for the first two tries, as I recall.
