On the partnership, Women’s Head Coach Denis Betts said: “Having Chris and Maxine (CSC2) as our first Official major shirt sponsor for the Women’s team is groundbreaking for us as a team.

“It shows the intention that we’re setting out and to get a strong company who has been associated with the Club through player sponsorship with the Men’s team also shows their care and love for this Club.”

He added: “It’s great, it shows that they want to be part of this exciting journey and it is a partnership which has great prospects.”

Warriors Head of Commercial, Geoff Warburton added: “As the club enters a new era, it is only right that the Women’s Team run with its own sponsors and it is fantastic that Chris and Maxine really understand and want to support this.

“As a club we are proud that CSC2 will be behind the Women’s Team and be emblazoned across the front of the shirts from the start of the 2024 season. The Women’s game is developing at a fantastic rate and we are pleased that this shows that Wigan are embracing this and CSC2 are keen to join us on the journey.”

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
