That demand didn’t just happen though. The whole thing is an incredibly slick operation even down to how the pitches look on TV. The fact they look very green and almost as smooth as a billiard table isn’t just because it was decided football pitches would be like that for any sporting reason. Sky pay the money because the demand to watch the game is there and its clearly worth their while to splash so much cash.
Meanwhile in RL we argue about the IMG rules because some say it is not fair that despite the fact a team plays in a tip of stadium it is wrong it isn’t promoted because they don’t earn enough IMG points.
