New website to enhance fan experience.

Focus on Wigan Warriors digital presence.

Site set for launch early next week.

Wigan Warriors are delighted to announce the launch of a new website ahead of the 2024 Super League Season getting underway.

As part of the Club’s commitment to significantly enhancing fan experience, the bold redesign of the website marks the start of a new era for Wigan Warriors digital presence that will bring supporters a significantly improved experience across mobile, desktop and tablets that will allow fans to interact with the club at a much greater level.

The relaunched site will include a host of new engaging features for Warrior’s supporters to enjoy, alongside a cleaner, crisper and intuitive viewing experience across all devices.

The remodelled match centre includes a new partnership with Opta that will include in-depth and detailed information around match data and more and the clean, modern design with improved navigation, means fans can access what they need quickly and easily, from desktop to mobile screens.

Chief Executive Kris Radlinski said: “This has been an ongoing project that commenced around 2022. Continuously striving for innovation, we consistently explore avenues to provide our fans with fresh and creative ways to connect with us.

“Our latest technological advancement has us particularly excited, and we can’t wait to share it with you.”

Stewart Frodsham, Head of Marketing & Media said: “We’re delighted to be launching our new website in the coming days.

“With over 70% of traffic from mobile phones, the site has been built with a mobile-first design process.

“Working with design partner Fishtank Agency, the new site gives us the platform to showcase all of our teams using modern publishing tools with greater control and flexibility than ever before.”

Combined with the new ticketing solution, the new website will play a very significant role in the Clubs digital transformation. The site will launch early next week. Please note that there will be a short period of down time when the transfer is implemented.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
