I don't know the details, but aren't Sunderland's dealings with Roy Francis a bit murky?

Quite a lot and it’s a fascinating thing to study. Tony Collins is the man to seek on this issue but Roy wasn’t treated nicely at Wigan under Harry’s tenure (and other black players).

Personally I would like the award to champion the sports Great players or player - the ultimate, the best… who? I don’t know. Harold Wagstaff would be hard to beat.
