Isn't it the fella that played for Warrington and then last season for Leigh? A second rower, I know he's highly thought of so hopefully will fill the hole left by Hansen.

yeah he played for leigh last season was one of the better players its reported in the local paper up here wilkes said it was a privilege and a honour to play for wigan just hope some of the others start to think that way

Heard him on GMR tonight and he said it has always been his ambition to play for Wigan, no matter how long for, so at least he wants to play for us so that can't be bad for a start.

I really like this signing, far more than Jonkers. Wilkes has the ability to roam out wide down the left hand side and create chances for his outside backs.
