Supporters are advised that Saturday's Academy fixture against Castleford Tigers will now take place at at Leigh Miners Rangers (WN7 2LZ) with an amended KO time of 1pm.

Lost 25:30. Poor match and even worse ref. Cas scored a try from a blatant knock on from a set play at a scrum and the only person that didn't see it was the ref. Must have been 40+ pens/6 again's.

People may be wanting to watch it when it’s on Wigan tv you shouldn’t have put the score 🙁

Are the academy playing next year's rules? I.e. below armpit tackle height?

Yes they are, hence the penalty count etc. Hopefully it will settle down as the season continues as the ref did seem over-zealous, besides being crap.
