WIGAN WARRIORS WILL FACE CARDIFF DEMONS AT SUTTON PARK IN THE BETFRED WOMEN’S CHALLENGE CUP QUARTER-FINAL THIS SATURDAY.
Denis Bett’s side finished top of Group Two with maximum points after wins over Salford Red Devils, Barrow Raiders and Cardiff Demons.
The Warriors closed the group stages with the best attacking (132 points scored) and defensive (22 points conceded) numbers in Group Two, which was strengthened following a 44-4 win over Cardiff at Robin Park Arena on Sunday.
After progressing through the group stages, Wigan will now face the Demons in the Quarter-Finals at Leigh Miners Rangers’ Sutton Park this Saturday (13 April), as they aim to reach the last four of the competition for a second season running.
