Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Has anyone heard why Cooper drops out? Injury or just squad rotation?

Looking forward to seeing Walters to see how he goes he always looked an awkward customer when at Leeds so let’s hope he keeps clear of knocks and goes well for the rest of the season

Ah, didn't see that and was about to discuss the issues Peet will have in picking the team.
Having four (Cooper, Byrne, Walters and Havard) all lacking some fitness but needing minutes makes it a good problem I suppose.

Catalans Dragons receive major boosts ahead of Grand Final rematch against Wigan Warriors

Catalans Dragons have welcomed back two key players ahead of Thursday’s Grand Final rematch against Wigan.

Mike McMeeken returns from suspension, while key half-back Jordan Abdull has also been included following a hamstring injury suffered against St Helens earlier this month.

Tom Davies and Romain Navarrete have been named against their former club, while hooker Michael McIlorum misses out through suspension.

Catalans 21-man squad:

Mourgue, Davies, Romano, Laguerre, Yaha, Nikorima, Fages, McMeeken, Bousquet, Sims, Seguier, Garcia, Da Costa, Sironen, Navarrete, Rouge, Satae, Johnstone, Abdull, Maria, Aispuro-Bichet.

I don’t think that Cooper will have been rested he has played very few minutes this season. I think this is the squad that will be chosen for the semifinal barring injuries and suspensions. I expect Byrne, Havard and Walters to get some game time this week.

It'll be nice if he hits the ground running (so to speak) but let's cut Walters some slack and not expect too much too soon. He's going to be a huge asset but he may well need time to slot back in.

Saying he isn’t going to be in the 17 unfortunately.
