* 21-player squad announced for our Betfred Super League visit to Hull FC, in association with Matrix Fitness.

* Matt Peet has made one change to the squad as Brad O’Neill returns from suspension.

* Hull FC v Wigan Warriors, Saturday 20 July, 2pm K.O.

MATT PEET HAS SELECTED HIS 21-PLAYER SQUAD FOR SATURDAY’S BETFRED SUPER LEAGUE VISIT TO THE MKM STADIUM TO FACE HULL FC.

The Warriors head coach has made one change to his squad as Brad O’Neill returns from suspension to replace Bevan French.

21-Man Squad: Hull FC vs Wigan Warriors

Simon Grix has named his 21-man squad ahead of Saturday’s Betfred Super League R18 fixture against Wigan Warriors at the MKM Stadium, in association with Jadan Press.

With the match kicking off at the slightly earlier time of 2pm, Hull FC go in search of their third win of the season.

There are two changes to this week’s 21-man squad. Tiaki Chan is unavailable as the Black & Whites face his parent club, whilst youngster Will Kirby drops out of the side.

Ahead of his permanent move to the MKM Stadium in 2025, Ed Chamberlain has joined the club on loan for the rest of the season and he comes into this week’s 21-man squad alongside fellow loanee King Vuniyayawa.

Danny Houghton (calf), Joe Cator (back), Jack Ashworth (ankle), Mitieli Vulikijapani (knee), Nick Staveley (knee), Charlie Severs (shoulder), Cobie Wainhouse (knee) and Jed Cartwright (foot) remain sidelined for Hull.

It looks like the worries surrounding Junior have not materialised.

He is primarily a back rower but has filled in at hooker for the reserves, possibly in as cover for both positions again this week. He is a good prospect, good hands and rugby instincts - one for the future. Interesting if he did get a bench spot this week. Looking at the bio he is 17 so I guess joined the Academy last year? and already a regular in the reserves.

He's a cracking player imo will go far. Played with my grandson at both judes and John Fisher. As did George o' locklin. Interestingly they also played in curtain raiser at Catalan wire final at Wembley against halton where the lad Robertson from saints played he scored 4 tries and was man of match . Saints got a brilliant prospect there too

Looking at Hull's squad numbers, there are only 8 of them from 1 to 20. I guess that reflects in their league position. Most recent signing on loan, Vuniyayawa, never impressed and is on his 3rd team in 3 seasons.
