1. Marshall seems to be carrying an injury, I've never seen him so slow.

2. Wardle seemed to pick up a knock right at the end he was limping after the pen was awarded.

2. Hampshire is not the answer to Farriomond being targeted/overplayed his distribution is poor

4. Smith is having a dip in form (outside of in game kicking) but we have no option to rest/drop him.

5. Our defence was very un wigan like. Normally we form a solid line which closes in like a net, last night we were all over the place with people jumping out and large gaps that a better team would have exploited.

Special mention to Miski for Huddersfield last try, no idea what he was doing but it's summing up our performances at the moment.
I was just about to make the same point.
Generally he was a lot better this week, back to his blockbusting runs, but that last try!!
It's OK to let an attacker catch the ball away from the line, but you're then meant to tackle him, not let him run to the line and score

I thought it was a combination of miski and keighran not challenging.Keighran actually jumped out of the way.As for Hampshire i think its for his defence compared to farrimonds
IF YOU STRIKE ME DOWN I WILL BECOME MORE POWERFUL THAN YOU CAN POSSIBLY IMAGINE

Not too sure about that, I thought his defence wasn't up to much.
He did catch a ball to score and kick for a score, but other than that he looked very poor in attack, his passing game is non existant.

I think Hampshire will now get an extended run in the team.

4 weeks I'd say!

He's not the best player we have in that position for sure, but we've tried the alternative and unfortunately Farimond seems not quite ready. Hampshire scored one, made one and importantly didn't throw risky passes out leading to conceeding tries. Overall, he did what was asked and is somewhat of a thread on that side, as a runner more than a passer for sure. His experience gives him the edge when we're looking to be solid but not spectacular to play ourselves back into some form.
