Surely they have to also move the Hull KR game to Thursday or else they could field a weakened team on the Friday if Wigan win and the league is gone?
Surely the squads will already have been announced before KR know Wigans result so no way will they be able to field a weakened side.
And going off what Warrington did to Huddersfield yesterday and with London to play on Friday, Hull KR will be going all out to beat Leeds and get the following week off. So our result on Thursday won't matter at all

We may well be guaranteed a home semi but it will be a lot better to finish top. The second placed side will almost certain have to face Warrington in the semi.

I don't understand though what they would do with the League Leaders trophy presentation.
Say if we lose on Thursday, it is then down to KR to win on the Friday, Leeds will be going all out to win to get a play off spot, if Leeds were to turn Hull KR over (cant see it though), then we win the league, who and when do you present the trophy too.
It would be two weeks before our next game, it down plays the achievement of winning the shield if it only gets presented a few weeks later

Yes & Salford have named a weakened team so Willie Peters has an idea of who will be playing. Everyone in Yorkshire are bemoaning the fact that Salford have already given us the LLS.
So when it’s all over this weekend in which order do teams play in the playoffs?
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
I do t like it when sides name weakened squads but if anyone has an excuse you could say it’s Salford given how small their squad is that said sky kind of killed off much interest with the weird move of the game to Thursday if you wanted any sort of tension then play the KR game the same day.
The chatter is for a very weakened Salford team, how do we respond, not forgetting that we could have 16 days off before the semi?
I'd suspect that Walters has a run as he has not played for a few weeks (Hill played in Reserves Final) but not sure who should be rested because of the long break.

For me play them all and don’t make any rash changes bring certain players off at half time maybe but I’d be wary of resting to many players and falling flat on their arse in doing so
