Paul is a very good shout, comparable with Bevan as they both could do the ordinary stuff well and then do something off the cuff. In terms of crowd pleasers, surely Henderson Gill is on the list as he always got the crowd on their feet when he got the ball?

Just randomly watching us v Leigh on 5 July this year, Leigh have just scored to make it 8-6 and have kicked the ball to Bevan who returns the ball, almost breaking through and earning a penalty (56:13 played).
On 4th tackle he puts in a good pass to Wardle who puts Marshall in at the corner (57:24). On the next set he on tackle 3 he receives ball on half way, jinks through then kicks into space and scores (60:16 played). All done with a smile on his face. A special talent that spoils us with so much brilliance we can take it for granted. Top 3 for sure.

I never thought I would see a better stand off than Brett Kenny. However Bevan has proved he is brilliant wherever he plays ie. stand off, full back and winger. He has the edge for me . Overall the greatest ever Wigan player must be Billy B
