WhatsApp is how Saints do business hahaExiled Wiganer wrote: ↑Sat Feb 08, 2025 4:31 pm That’s awful. It seems out of character for our club, and against the principles which we take pride in.
(I was going to make the following joke: “Text? That’s awful. Haven’t they heard of wattsapp?” but I realised that would not convey my disappointment in the club.)
Like with Ineos at Man U, or Elon Musk in USA, billionaires want more power and money so cost cut to the max stuff they believe they don’t need.
We are no different. If you don’t pay in you don’t get out.

Well, I wouldn't want to think that Elon Musk was a role-model for the club. But whatever he has to do with the Warrior Girls, I don't know.

Maybe Berkley have withdrawn sponsorship or it is now seen to be a bit misogynistic.
To be honest, since they have been confined to being behind the advertising hoardings in front of the South Stand rather than on the pitch no one can see them very much anyway.

South stand sold out!
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

From what I can see on ticket site and what the last tweet said only single seats left in west and east
Re: 20k Sold for Greatest Opening Night
Should be a great crowd, the tickets sold is a bit misleading, they have been giving free tickets to schools/ameuter clubs like crazy.
Which in itself is good to see.

These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

The North end of both East and West stands have been unavailable to get tickets for so I'm going to assume it's those areas they've been giving them away for. Not necessarily a bad thing. Bums on seats are bums on seats and it looks a hell of a lot better on TV when you have full stands, especially at the edges, however if you're a season ticket holder, does it not stick in the craw a little bit when you see people getting free tickets left right and centre while you're paying out for every game? I'm speaking as someone who hasn't had a season ticket for many years and now picks and chooses games I go to
