Ah yes, sorry, I forgot about my own post re the two Saints ladsCharriots Offiah wrote: ↑Tue Mar 11, 2025 1:08 pmThat's correct. He is currently playing centre for Saints reserves, Sambou (a winger) is the other lad. They should both play in the reserves this weekend at Wigan.the pieman wrote: ↑Tue Mar 11, 2025 8:50 ami think he's one of the 2 lads from Saints we were rumoured to have signed just before the season started
on a side note i was impressed with Hewitt i think it was who played 2nd row for Hudds at weekend

Re: Wigan v Hudds
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

and how he keeps 3 hookers happy
Now there's a phrase I never thought I'd see on this forum.
When O'Neill and Leeming are both fit - we have a choice of attacking players with O'Neill being the better defender. With Forber, it's more a case of when we want to attack - Leeming is on the field - when we need to defend - it's Forber.

Watching the game late last nigt, I thought Leeming missed a hell of a lot of tackles; the (incomplete) SL stats page says two missed tackles for him; I'd call that wildly optimistic.

Byrne also misses a lot.Back to the hooker thing.I really can see spelling more at loose as the season goes on.Signs of a great squad when we get conundrums like this

Re: Wigan v Hudds
If these are academy lads I think we could be talking about 3-4 years away from being a first team regular/starter, Faz only has next season and can't see them extending beyond that, Walters can easily fit into that position and gives us so much with his height when kicking to the edgesthe pieman wrote: ↑Tue Mar 11, 2025 8:50 ami think he's one of the 2 lads from Saints we were rumoured to have signed just before the season startedjosie andrews wrote: ↑Tue Mar 11, 2025 7:19 amWho is Vaughan?Charriots Offiah wrote: ↑Tue Mar 11, 2025 12:36 am

One point that was apparent from the Hudds game was that Liam Moore provided a return to normal service.
After the Leigh game and his dreadful performance he returned us to the normal fast and skilful game we expect.
Well Done Liam and thanks!
