LEIGH LEOPARDS LAUNCH SPECIAL EDITION WARM-UP T-SHIRT IN SUPPORT OF WIGAN & LEIGH HOSPICE
Leigh Leopards are proud to unveil a limited edition warm-up T-shirt in aid of Wigan & Leigh Hospice – a heartfelt collaboration that unites two towns for one extraordinary cause. With the tagline “2 Towns, 1 Special Hospice”, this initiative highlights the power of sport to bring people together for a greater good.
This unique design celebrates the heritage and architecture of Leigh, brought together in a striking black and purple colourway. The jersey proudly features the Wigan & Leigh Hospice emblem, alongside the iconic Leopards crest, symbolising unity, care, and community spirit.
Available for pre-order now, the special edition T-shirt will not only make a statement on match day but also off the pitch, as all profits from each sale will be donated to Wigan & Leigh Hospice. This vital local charity provides compassionate care and support to individuals with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
The T-shirt is available in both adult and youth sizes, starting from age 2, ensuring fans of all ages can get involved and show their support.
The deadline to place pre-orders is Friday, 10th May – supporters are encouraged to act quickly to avoid disappointment.
Steve Kerr, Chief Operating Officer at Leigh Leopards, commented:
“Leopards have supported local causes and charities each year and we are really proud to support Wigan & Leigh Hospice – a charity that does some amazing work supporting those in need who may be less fortunate than ourselves.
“Supporting local means any donations go directly to the community we serve, and it’s great that we can continue to support their work.
“This Wigan & Leigh Hospice charity T-shirt will be worn by our players for the warm-up when we take to the field against Wigan Warriors on the 4th of July. Wigan Warriors are also supporting the charity and it’s another great example of the Leopards and Warriors coming together to support our community.
“The T-shirt will only be available on pre-order and therefore it must be ordered online or in-store before the cut-off date. All profits will be donated to the charity and each player’s warm-up shirt will be auctioned post-game to raise vital funds.
“I hope all our fans will join us in wearing purple to raise awareness and funds for Wigan and Leigh Hospice on the 4th of July.”
Jo Carby, Chief Executive of Wigan & Leigh Hospice, added:
“It is so exciting to have Leigh Leopards supporting us, and I know it will mean a lot to many of our patients, volunteers and staff. Sport is a vital part of this borough and plays such an important role in shaping the amazing community spirit we experience every day.
“The new T-shirt looks incredible, and I can’t wait to see Leigh supporters wearing them, showing their support for both their team and the hospice. We are so proud to be part of this wonderful community and so grateful to Leigh Leopards for their support.”

WIGAN & LEIGH HOSPICE WARM UP T-SHIRT
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
