penalty count finished 9-4 against, but we did get a couple of repeat sets
i was getting frustrated as it felt the game was being policed differently for both sides. He pulled Wigan for something but completely ignored the same offence for Hull. Wife told me off for swearing at the ref
. i do try to give the ref the benefit of the doubt when watching a Wigan game as we are invested in it, but it just bugged me yesterday that it felt so different how he was policing both sides
whilst i agree with a previous comment, and dont want to see the whistle blown at every offence, there does need to be some consistency within the game. Borough was all over the Wigan players at times, but until he swung out when he had the ball, he'd not been penalised. Sides often complain about Wigan slowing the POTB down, but i could have made a brew at times yesterday with Hull being so slow to clear the ruck
anyway, a good result and game time for Keighran and Thompson, although i thought Keighran looked a little leggy / slow, which is understandable. We've been to Hull / KR for 3 games and come away with 6 points, which is no easy feat for any side
