Trying to stop Wiganers from having a good moan is like trying to stop the tide from coming in!

NOT going to happen.

Behind where we sit, at the GP defeat to Leigh someone was complaining that "French isn't a team player"! Tough crowd indeed...

He was a bit selfish last season to be fair! Hoovering up the Man of the match awards in the WCC, Challenge Cup final and Grand Finals was pretty disgraceful and a prime example of him not being a team man. The rest of the players must've been fuming that he helped them lift all the trophies.

That's my one big problem with the current VR system. The refs ask for particular things to be checked i.e. "check the grounding", "check touch" - but the VR ignores that and checks absolutely everything. They should be restricted to only check what the ref asked for.
Strongly disagree. if you're going to go the VR, at least let's be certain we get the right decision. Which means looking at everything. A trial where some of the evidence is withheld from the judge is never a fair trial.

They don't usually bother saying, check on-side from the kick. But the VR does invariably check that first. Would you prefer that step was omitted too because the onfield official didn't specifically request it?

It's true that after many camera angles, unclear, and a decision is made, it shows an obvious picture of the ball being grounded. I have seen this many times seems very strange or do they choose the angles they only want to see.??

Yes, definitely. The ref always talks to the touch judges before sending up to the screen, so if they are unsure, then check it. If they are happy with that, no need to check it.

Ah you have found out what a TJ does, it has been a mystery to me for far too long.

my ex brother-in-law was a qualified referee (but this was a few years back) and at the time he said that the VR shouldnt get a decision wrong. They use the TV to create drama so to speak at the ground but the actual VR has multiple angles to see whether its a try or not, and we dont see everything the VR sees. Whether that is factually true or not, i'm not sure, but had no reason to disbelieve him at the time

I know and someone "old school" just suggested bringing back the in goal judges. I don't think I ever saw them help the ref with any try decision in the entire time they were in use.
