This is a long thread, and not the first one, which is primarily about refs and their decisions. The aim of clubs and the RFL is to "engage" with fans. (The IMG even includes online or social media engagement as one of its criteria.)

Therefore the people arguing against too many replays and overuse of the video ref are inadvertently helping to persuade the powers that be to keep doing what they do, or even give us more.

Just a thought! :D
You are not being serious you? The implication is the RFL are deliberately pissing the fans off to secure engagement? Really?
I wasn't saying that the RFL were deliberately doing anything, but rather than, if "engagement" is one of their primary aims, then us lot arguing about refs and VRs is not something they would want to stop.

Ah you have found out what a TJ does, it has been a mystery to me for far too long.
😂😂
I know and someone "old school" just suggested bringing back the in goal judges. I don't think I ever saw them help the ref with any try decision in the entire time they were in use.
Bring the corner flags back into play, was far more exciting

They should shoot laser beams into the sky so you can't go over them either.

That's a fair enough point, morley. I'm not sure how big a factor it is, but it's certainly something to consider.

Bit over the top that mike, but what about some sort of sensor built into the ball with 2 field long sensors detecting forward passes, Leeds and Saints would never win a game with this system
