he shuld have gone and sorted the knee out at the end of the season instead of putting it off now. we are in a position where we have to pay his wages for the next how many months until he recovers then gets fit again. the rugby league shuld compensate wigan as im sure they had something to do with his decision not to have the op until after the g.b. tests

Now come on the RFL's hardly to blame, as a wigan fan I'm well aware of Faz's lacking acceptance of injurys, for gods sake the lad went for half the season not being able to kick goals!!!!

Someone needs to sit him down and have a quite word, hopefully Mike Greg will be the man to tell the lad to sit down when he's raising his hand to play in games when blatantly not fit! I mean for gods sake he was only training once or twice a week come the back end of the season and the ashes series....

Well said wrn...He has shown what a truly fantastic player he is over the years but as time goes by he must realise he needs to be 100% fit to do himself justice. I think a lot of the Farrell knockers (myself included on the odd occasion) are too quick to get on his back without realising what he puts himself through (rightly or wrongly) to make sure he is out on the field.

are you all honestly saying that no pressure was put on him to defare his op until after the ashes series cos im not! andy is not as young as he used to be and these knocks are taking longer to get over i know the final decision is his but he has tryed his heart out and someone shuld say stop!get yourself fit and enjoy the game not play in pain everyone knew he needed this op and no one in the G.B dressing room advised him not to play!!
