Predictions for new season

Post by pacman »

Who do you think will be the team to beat next season?

I think Bradford will again be strong, especially after signing Logan Swann.

Leeds I think will fall short again as they don't have the big game players to stay up there all season and will struggle in the play offs

I think we will go one of two ways - either the youngsters will destroy every team in its path with their enthusiasm and skill - or they will be found out by the bigger, stronger teams and simply be overpowered.

I think the team to watch will, unfortunately be Saints. After a few indifferent seasons I believe that they are due a good season. If the likes of Sculthorpe and Long have an injury free season and Talau has the same impact as late on last season, I think they'll have a great chance

Just trying to be objective and impartial.........

1. Bradford
2. Saints
3. Wigan
4. Leeds
5. Hull
6. Cas

Saints v Bradford Grand Final - Saints to win.....sorry!!! :(

The Saints pack isn't good enough to get them to second spot.

Long is getting past it.

Don't know what we will do but the teams I think are the ones to beat are Bradford, Leeds and Hull.

Bradford have 8 Kiwis and Leeds may well surprise people. Hull seem to have recruited well !

saints have signed donkeys be honest bibey was no good even at leigh- gilmore is a nice lad but at the wrong end of his career cunningham hasn't played well for two seasons now and long can do the business sometimes thats not good enough im sorry saints will be 4-5 again hull will be the team because they finished outside the top six they get an easier run in at the end of the season just when they need it!

i think the first 5- 10 games are gonna be awkward for us.. we have a tough sched, cassidy is out, faz is out, lammy is out. i`m thinking that we will have to look for that late push like last season.. & finish 3rd.
can`t see anyone staying with bradford.. ( can someone tell me AGAIN.. why we are cutting the squad because of salary cap, yet the bulls have signed 3 more????????????? strange that!!! lol)
and there depth, well experience in depth..

but..scully should be fit & hopefuly stay that way, we will have orr .. & our youngsters will get another chance to shine.. i am pleased we kept the core of our players i am one for building a team on longevity & 98% of our lads could be there for a while.
think we will miss lam more than faz and i still don`t agree with the letting go of briscoe.. but the team we have is pretty good.. i know i`m looking forward to the season!!!

Im gonna be optimistic and say we'll win at least one trophy this season (hopefully both!!)
I think we always start off badly at the beginning of a season but then come back well. im not even gonna listen to Stevo go on about how it must be Leeds year this year 'cause he does the same every season and its getting boring, they'll win F*** all as usual. Saints did nothing to worry me last year and they dont look any better this year, bradford are all fat so they're gonna make no yards and who else could compete with us?!
See, we'll do well this year!
