Why can't people see a Wigan win on Saturday, we lost to Cas by a converted try.
Last week Cas beat Salford who were 3rd quite convincingly.
A couple of decisions either way and last weeks game could have been ours for the taking.
If anything, the pressure is now off us, as we are seen as the easy wins for all teams.
I for one am convinced that Nobby has the ability to turn this club around and get us out of this mire.
here here but not till next year :conf:

Cas desered to win by a bigger nargin. Which decisions. That try when 3 players let him go. Not the refs fault. You play to the whistle.

Yes Nobby will turn it round but not until next season.

I disagree. As soon as the second attacker joined in the tackle was complete. Penalty Wigan. Also the Moran 'Try' was a clear case of benefit of the doubt. The try at Hudds on saturday was a much clearer knock on and that was given!
flash im glad some 1 else remembers that rule every 1 else seems to forget that once another attacking player joins the tackle it is deemed complete as it is now a maul which is illegall in our game so yes penalty to wigan weather the player was still moving or not ,they would of cried tackle complete if we pushed him into touch

But the ref doesn't whistle for a completed tackle, which would be a very easy way to remove all the confusion. There were several occasions in that game (and others) where the players of both sides were looking at the ref hoping for some indication of whether to play on or play the ball.
I'm not using that example as an excuse for losing, by the way. It's been going on for a while; I remember a Long try being disallowed against us, and Long penalised for playing on although the ref hadn't called held.

Sorry Flash...the ball carrier was still moving, therefore the tackle was incomplete. Fair try.
thats dosnt make any diffrence if he his moving and a team member joins in its a maul penalty wigan wether the ball player moving or not please read tge rule book

As a matter of fact, not only is there no 'whistle' to play to, the ref doesn't even call held for every tackle! In addition we only need to think back to the Wakey game last season to see how tenuous even a 'held' call is with this particular referee. No-one is saying that it is only the ref's fault that we are losing, just making the point concerning the fine line between winning and losing for those who can't see where the next win is coming from. It is obvious that had these two calls gone our way then we would have won that particular game, whether we played well enough or not!
Ok fair comment.

So in conclusion should they have just dumped the guy to the ground rather than let him go.

Still should not have scored.

thats the best point yet but if we did dump him bet hed of oenalised us any way as the tackle was complete ,is this a big circle

according to the rules the tackle was complete as i keep saying it was a maul as a second attacking player joined the tackle and in our game of rugby league not union it is illegall, but that still dosnt defend our players for letting him score, they were waiting for the ref to shout held but like you mr jurkpatrick dosnt know the rules
