We have a 99 year lease at the JJB so have the latics .Dave Whelan is the owner of both clubs and the Council is part landlord .I remember the last time we went down the gates actually went up .Cast your mind back afew months when a consortium tried to take over the club Whelan insisted that Wigan RL had to stay at the JJB AND THEY WERE UNDER CONTRACT TO PLAY THERE.Playing most of our games away has not helped Wigan RL because of preserving the pitch for the Latics.
