Captain Fantastic to Return on Friday!

Post by exmouthpie »

Just been on the bbc sport site and it says that
"Andy Farrell and Mick Cassidy will both return to Wigan's side for the Challenge Cup quarter-final against Wakefield on Friday.
Farrell, who had knee surgery in the close season, and Cassidy, who had an operation on a shoulder injury, missed the first five matches of the season.

Danny Tickle and Gareth Hock drop to the bench to accommodate their return.

I'm really glad that O'Loughlin has been kept in the first 13. Certainly think he has shone brighter than Hock this season. Whether that is due to Lockers playing LF I dunno.

Good stuff all round lets hope we are starting to see the end to the injury jinx.

All I would say though is that we shouldnt get too excited remember when Faz came back last time. It upset the way the youngsters were throwing the ball about for a few games. Lets hope this time with a bit more experience things will gel quicker. Cassidy is just as crucial in my book!
