Currently Klein and Bentham are employed fulltime. Klein does community and development work for Yorkshire, Bentham for Lancashire.

I imagine it will be the current SL referees provided they'd be earning more refereeing than they do in their current jobs.

All ref's should be full time, bionic with eyes in the back of their heads, wired for sound and fit enough to keep up with play for 80 minutes. They should be faultless but give Wigan every 50-50 decision when they ref us. If that was the case we would only be second from the bottom this season and not where we are now :D :D :D :D

all this talk is making me wonder why we only use the big screen for try or no try... they could easily install one for every SL team and use it for regular decisions (such as the 40-20 decision against leeds)

That was a shocker mate, even leeds fans next to us were suprised with that decision!

Fine in theory...but it would cause too many stoppages in play, IMO. Screen at every game, yes, definitely (expense is usually quoted as the reason why they don't) but not extending its use.
AFAIK, it can be used to see where the ball was kicked from, but not where it crosses the line.
