Number of matches missed this season...

Post by ancientnloyal »

...will be a big fat 5

Missed so far:

Catalans (A) - Like I could afford to go to France!
Huddersfield (H) Working that night, only finished at 7pm
Castleford (A) This a Sunday? I was working then.

Will be missing:

Wolves (A) Holidays
Catalans (H) Still on mi jollies

NOT bad for a university stuident working 50 hours per week is it? only missed (or missing) 3 Away matches and 2 at home.

Even when we couldn't win, I was still excited to watch us play... travelling to Lancaster Uni on the train in my Wigan shirt, came back then drove to the far reaches of yorkshire for 8pm.

For me it is easier to say the ones I have been to...

Saints home, Les Cats home, Wires home and yesterdays. I'm also going to Salford home, wires away and the next Harlequins away too.
My reason is I live in Portsmouth all the way down on the South coast. But when I'm not there I do watch them on the tele or listen on the radio.

I'm there in spirit!

do you know someone who goes on the BBC RL message boards and they work in Sports World... by any chance? they are from Portsmouth and I think they are a wigan fan. Or I may have dreamt that

No I don't know any other Wigan fans down here, there's not many of us from Wigan. But I did see someone last week in a warriors shirt whilst I was in my car on my way home from work.
