SATURDAY 29TH JULY - TESCO (WIGAN)

Post by turf »

Taken from Official site:

Wigan Warriors first team players are making a special appearance at the Tesco Extra store on Central Park Way in Wigan on Saturday 29th July.

The event promises fun and games for all the family with the popular Warriors mascot Max, and the club’s cheerleading squad the ‘Walkabout Warrior Girls’ also attending to join in with the activities.

Hosted by 97.4 Rock FM and their Thundertruck team, Tesco customers will have the chance to get autographs and have their photographs taken with first team players, Max and the Walkabout Warrior Girls.

There will also be the opportunity to take part in competitions to win some great prizes. The fun starts at 1pm until 3pm.

I cannot go unfortunately due to going on holiday on the same day. Dam!!!!!!!! I wonder if a certain Danny Tickle comes in for any questioning or stick. By the way, that was in reference to the stupid penalty he gave away on Sunday.

Thats bad business sense, considering I shop at Horwich Extra Tesco store. Could lead to consumer watchdogs being told about unadequate price-hikes.

Is it just me? I can't set foot in the place and haven't done since it was built. The only building that should be there is Central Park. I saw grown men with tears in their eyes when Central Park was being demolished, yes I'm sure that progress needs to be made and we should all move on but it sticks in my throat that that bastard John Robinson sold our ground to Tesco when dave Whelan had offered to buy it and redevelop it.

I feel the same Nortee Boy... Before there were buildings, the Scholes area was lovely, lush and fertile, rolling farmers fields, I wont step a foot there now until Wigan demolishes in and turns it into Greenbelt (after a brownfield site etc..)
