No we've never done it before have we. (sigh) Briscoe, Robinson, Aspinwall i even miss Mark Smith!!
This is different. All those players were either not that good (the last two), were not going to get a game (Briscoe behind Rads) or were rumoured to have issues with the club (Robinson) and none were real first choice players at the time they left.

Ashton is our new No. 1 full back and has bags of potential. With the exception of Robinson (and I am not convinced even he is that great) we have not missed the others.

Losing Ashton would be a serious blow and if Mo lies down meekly as he did with Farrell's move to RU then there is something fishy going on.

we could have done with them this season, oh yeah and last season.. Look at the clubs they went to:

Briscoe- Hull FC- 2nd place 36 points
Robinson- Salford City Reds- 5th place 24 points
Aspinwall- Huddersfield Giants- 8th 18 points

all of which are above us.. :eusa12:

But not after Friday night bring on the giants.

These individuals hardly make a whole team. Ok, so Aspinwall's scored a few for Huddersfield, maybe Drew, Thorman and De Vere are more the reason for them getting victories this year. Briscoe has hardly played for Hull due to injury, and even at Salford there's more to them than just Robinson, although I grant you he's better than our scrum-half for the first part of this season. But neither Briscoe nor Aspy would have made any difference to us this year.
