How do you do these things, I would love to be able to make these type of images they are brilliant!
You need some image software like Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro & there are loads of others then it is just a case of learning who to use it.
I build up images using layers, so the picture of central park it layer one with the picture put of the player layer 2, the text if layer 3 and finally the logo is layer 4.
More complicated images can be made by making more and more lays and just putting one over another.

thanks for that, can you help as to were I would get this software and which is the best.
Had to make one for one of my favourite Wigan players of all time.
Perhaps there could be a section on this website for people to upload Wigan or rugby related signature pictures and wallpapers for computers so that other people can download and use them, something for the almighty administer to consider.
If anyone wants a wallpaper making for the computer I will have ago at making one, by the way it does not have to be a Wigan Legend one but it can be if you want.

Probably www.amazon.co.uk's your best bet, at least in terms of a decent price. Photoshop Elements is probably enough (approx £60), it's the cut-down "consumer" version of the all-conquering Photoshop CS. Paint Shop Pro's a similar lo-cost package. As a keen photographer I suppose I should get round to buying one of these packages myself, although I have to admit to thinking that changing a photo on a computer after taking it is "cheating"! You couldn't do things like that in the old days with films...

Although in the past you couldn't change films or photos using a computer, mainly because computers didn't have the capability, photo editing has been around almost as long as the photo has, so it is nothing new really just a development in technology.

That's of course true, people have been cropping photos and "spotting", amongst other things, for as long as they've been taking photographs. I think I'm just trying to find excuses for myself being too lazy to do any editing of my photos after I've taken them! Although I'm proud of the fact I can often get pretty good results without the need for all that extra work, and I'd rather be taking photos rather than editing the ones I've already got.

As a web deisgner i use a few of these photo editing software. I have got the Studio 8 package which includes Macromedia Fireworks which is pretty good. Although i prefer to use Adobe Photoshop as the effects you use are better.
