Looks like John Kear put in a dodgy expenses claim...

Seems like its been sorted out now though. NOt usre if a "club insider" should have been giving quotes to the News of the World though.

I dont see what the man is doing at Wigan.We have one of the best possible assistant coaches in Dean Bell.Why do we need an old Sheffield nobody?

Nobody (that I know) quite knows. Its been variously described as financial irregularities, an error in management processes and an "honest mistake". IMO the real story is who leaked the quote to the News of the World. It sounded like whoever it was doesn't like Kear very much: "he's gone too far this time", sort of implies that they have seen faults in the past...

Someone at the club with a vendetta against Kear? WHo knows?
