Why does Hock and Leuluai not come in for the same stick as Ashton and O’Loughlin. I cannot work this out.
Hock in particular has had his critics all season but did look to have improved on giving away penalties. Other than discipline what else warrants critism of Hock?
Leuluai probably hasn't had that much stick because on the whole he has played quite well. He has certainly surprised me.
Ashton seems to me to be experiencing the "seconf season syndrome" where a player who in their first season has little expected of them does well but then in their second looks at bit exposed. You must agree he has made some mistakes this season like letting the ball bounce at Hudds (ciminal for a full back).Hock gives away to many penalties goes missing yet he never gets any criticism.
Leuluai for me has been a complete waste of time and money he waits for Barrett to do everything yet he gets no criticism O’Loughlin and Ashton has a bad game and they get slated.
I am just as annoyed as everyone but we need to be fair with our comments
Lockers is the captain so is bound to attract attention for that but he is also up there in the penalties given away statistics (like Hock). I think Hock, Lockers and Fletcher are in the top six as far as giving away penalties goes.
There are those who seem to dislike Lockers and Ashton but I think both players have not played well enough this season to be immune from critism and Hock in particular has also had his critics.
Unless you think Lockers and Ashton can do no wrong I don't see your point.
