Saint's fans at my place of work, are very dubious.
Apparently, several years ago, Tesco made an agreement to part fund (with Stains and the Council), Stains new stadium/casino/Tesco shop build, this didn't get the go-ahead due to licensing problems over the casino, and it fell through.
Now, Tesco's have forced Stains into honouring their part of the bargain, and they have to allow a Tesco Express Store to be built in close proximity to any stadium, that Stains will/might/could/should/cannot build!
The club were under the belief, that they would get a sponsorship deal from Tescos also - similar to our own, but they have reneged on that. The club has been made to look rather foolish and many of the Stains fans at our place are not too impressed.

Looks like a B&Q warehouse to me. I suppose similarly it will be full of planks as well!!..... at least every other week during the season.

at least they'll be able to repair the stadium quickly, just nick a few planks of wood repair roof, Ronseal for cracks in the walls
