as much as the rain is peeing me off too...
(why oh why does it seem to start just as i'm getting off the train to walk home?)

...i hope it really chucks it down on friday night. Stains really are a fair weather, dry track side as the match at Odsal on friday night proved, they really don't like having to slog it up the middle through ankle deep mud.

Was ok yesterday until just after midnight when the heavens opened, ain't seen rain like that for years, car alarms where going off, i thought my Velux windows where going to go through at one point.
Then this morning i set off for Barrow and couldn't decide whether to take a coat, after p***ing about for 5 minutes i decided not to, as it was sunny, then just as the train set of it P****d down so wass left in Barrow in the rain, soon as i got home the sun came out, which is about right for me :(

Anybody seen a weather forecast for late into this week / next week :eh: I am hoping we see some improvement. This time last year it was scorching hot.

According to www.metcheck.com for St Helens (to get an idea of what the pitch will be like):-

Today: heavy rain tonight

Wednesday: light rain, max 16c

Thursday: sunshine, rain later, max 21c

Friday: rain all day, heavier in the evening, max 14c
