Brett Hogdson

Got a hot rumour from a source inside the club, or just something you heard down the pub? Then what are you waiting for, post it on The Rumour Mill.

Appraently he's signed a new 1 year deal to stay with Wests.
Thank god there must be a better prospect out there than him.
Cant think of one in GB, except maybe Wellens.
That is sad but true.

Would love it if we signed either Billy Slater or Matty Bowen, but I know this wont happen.

Just hope we dont go for Rickie Mathers as has been said before.

Our options appear to be narrowing by the day.

The best thing we can do right now is get the new owners in place, then we can make a few signings - while there are still players around to be signed.

If players are not available, I would rather try and continue with the squad we have - not withstanding, minor signings here and there. Instead of snap signings of purely lower quality on fat salaries. If we have to wait, so be it! We should NOT get into the routine of filling the squad for fillings sakes.

I agree with that.

But we're already two men short this season at it is - add to that Withers' retirement, and we've been three men short for most of the year. There are gaps that need filling.

But yes - no more crap signings, please.

with Doris out the way and a Cap credit note as well as a few players with big wages leaving, we should be in a position to buy a quality FB as well as a Prop & Centre hopefully

What happened to local talent We have groomed them long enough for other clubs get out among the amateur ranks . I am certain there are better centres at ST Pats or St Judes than Vaeliki and also full backs as good if not better than Ashton, while were there lets look for a scrum half because Lleulai is just a younger version of Dennis Moran simply not Wigan Standard.

Our scrum half will be able to fill in at prop if he gets any heavier!!!!!

He reminds me of Olsen(?)Fillipano for those old enough!

There hasn't been a Wigan standard in 8/9 years, ain't nothing wrong with Lulu, wait till we have a ferocious pack, then we will see what he can do, why do so many fans live in the haydays
