In Brian Carney we have arguably our most marketable commodity in years. Not since Henderson Gill can I remember a Wigan player with such a cult status amongst the fans. He is exciting to watch and I'm told by the ladies, something of a 'looker' Why don't we promote the club on the back of Carney's image. United did it with Beckham (and Liverpool didn't do it with Peter Beardsley).
We can have Irish theme days at the JJB. Get some Guinness behind the bar and dispense with the piss that DW insists we drink.
