There's not a 16 year old or under capable of handling 2 sets of rowdy parents and officiating a match at the same time. Give them mini/mod BUT the real stuff NOPE SIREE

You'll never get match officials if you operated like that. They'd get bored waiting to be 16 sharing out the limited number of minimod games.

You put too much emphasis on referees being swayed by the crowd. You develop a very thick skin quite quickly.

Should have video refs... im sure one dad somewhere is a techy geek and can set up a camcorder and monitor from the back of his Cavalier

You may say it tongue in cheek but I once had a brawl in a match and as I was stood watching them fight I was pushed out of the way by a mother with a camcorder wanting a better angle.

my mate mike moffat referees and does a good job so i have been told......

i was goig to join him ut got swayed to join shevi.......


ifi was refereeing you wouldnt have enough men on the pitch to play with if a player like me came along swearing as i do to them when i walk away i would be off straight away.......
