I'm hoping our team/squad will be more like this...
Hodgson ( Alotta noises he's signing soon =] )
Richards
Cooper ( am i just dreaming lol )
Bailey ( Goulding to play more games next year too )
Calderwood
Barrett
Lulu
Fielden
Higham
Carvell ( hopefully otherwise sum1 similar )
Hock
Hansen
Lockers
McLlorum
Feka
Coley
Prescott
Then theres players like O'Carroll, Colbon, Goulding who will also play vital roles imo and then we'd have to dip into the less experienced youngsters.

like the idea of four forwards on the bench - this would have coley in the second row.
Not sure if we need two high quality backs - would prefer just one and a cheap back up utility player.
Must be alot of salary cap money left over - all of Valeki's money, Coley will be no where near what Fletcher was on plus smaller scale savings from Ashton, Withers and Millard
Just wish some names were been linked with the club.

Hodgeson at full back is what I keep earing he can cover the halfback role and we know Richards could slot in at full back allowing Colbon to be a reserve for the back line , in Bailly we have a player who can do a job at center or in the back row so quite a bit of cover .
We need to add a prop(I believe this as already been sorted) and a top center , we also may have another signing but not sure what position .
1. Hodgeson
2. Calderwood
3. Goulding / Baily
4.?
5.Richards
6.Barrett
7.Lulu
8.Fielden
9.Higham
10.?
11.Hock
12.Hansen
13.Lockers
14.Goulding/Baily
15.Macalorum ,maybe another player on a 1 year contract to allow him another year to progress
16.Coley his impact off the bench with Fekka is what we need to compete in the big games
17. Fekka may well keep the 10 shirt.
18. Colbon
19. ? another player to cover the hooker half back area (Drew like player)
20. Prescott.

Wigan don't have much money to spend until the 2009 season.

They must have money to spend;
£120K credit from last year, savings from Flectcher, Vaeliki, Withers, Ashton and Millard.
Spent some of it on Coley but must be money to spare

If we have no money left for next season then its a farce. We have lost Fletcher and DV the 2 biggest earners at the club (or not far off) and lost Withers, Ashton and Millard........signed Coley.
Doesnt read very well for next year. Mid to lower mid table for us I feel if this is true.

Mano is some sort of player for the reserves (I am led to believe).
Although his inside information of the clubs finances would be as fruitful/knowledgeable as any other poster on this site!

Were did i say there was no money left i said the club as not got much money until the 2009 season.
wigan wanted to sign 2 salford players 1 was a fullback salford offer him more money to STAY with them wigan could not match the offer.
The 2nd was a wing/centre wigan made him an offer and huddsfeild made him one as well thet offer him 25k more than wigan so far 7 players have turned wigan down due to the wages they are offering.
The money nobby as got he may use it on 1 big name or try and get 3 or 4 on the cheap that why 4 young players from the 21 will be in the 1st team sq next season
