try, clearly
Clealy no try in my view. I was sat near there and thought it was on the line when he "scored" it and that was confirmed by one of the angles of the replay.
So that should mean benefit of the doubt should not have applied because Klien could see it touch the line.
It is obvious if you view things from different angles you may get different views but if one of them shows an infringement then that should be the end of any doubt.

There was clearance between the ball and the whitewash which could be seen from several angles, I think it was clearly a try and benefit of the doubt was unnecessary.

I think perhaps I need to add something to the FAQ to explain the few occasions when threads might locked. Putting an end to a discussion is NOT one of those reasons, otherwise almost every thread would get locked after a couple of weeks. I lock threads when arguments are getting out of control, there are too many insults or other breaches of site rules. Locking a thread just because someone doesn't like the direction the discussion has gone is not what I think we should be doing.

My view is similar to gpartin's. I havent seen the match on telly only the replay from video ref at the match. I saw clearance between ball and goaline... with the videoref/ director sky sports, pausing it isnt 100% accurate but for me it was a try
