okay i didnt know of him but i was only 7...
and although i went to my first game when i was 4 i didnt have rugby knowledge at that age....

well what position do we need to sign?
I dont think we need a First team player
so it's likely to be someone who can come on and play Centre/Wing/Fullback but who is there that can?

Karl Pryce can, he has also played at stand-off.

He will do for me. If we can sign Mathers, Pryce and Carmont for 140k plus a bit, then outr new management has done a fantastic job.
3 internationals and first team quality backs for less than 1/10 of our playing budget is far better than we could have hoped...
Comparing the back 5 that finished last year with possibly our first choice back 5 this year shows improvements in every position.
Richards at 1 for Mathers - definite improvement
Colbon for Calderwood - no comparison
Bailey for Carmont - almost certainly stronger and allows Bails to play 2nd row
DV for Pryce - much better based on DV's average performance over the 3 years
Goulding for Richards - much better...
If only we had one more prop we could be up there with the big guns...
