No - there role models and professional athletes. At christmas I'm sure no-one has a problem with players having the odd beer and getting a bit merry in there own homes.
However people do have a problem with players get absolutely hammered and falling out of clubs and giving their respective clubs and rugby league a bad name.

Just to add to this, according to League Express Matt King has just got engaged before coming to the UK, so perhaps he was celebrating getting his good lady to agree to marry him? Having seen him on the news tonight, I'm assuming she's got a sense of humour given his current hairstyle...!mano posted:

What a knob jockey, sounds like a right oxygen thief. Surely his hairstyle is either for a bet or because he lost one. If I see him round town this weekend acting a chopper, I'll tell him what I think.

Didn't you say you were / are a squaddie, God? Oxygen thief was one of the funniest terms I ever heard whilst I was serving. There are many more but most are un-postable on here!
