Just hope it is somebody decent. At the end of the day I thought the message being promoted was that there was no point in not giving youngsters the opportunity unless somebody far better was available

Rumour - Some fans won't like it
Suggestion - Brian Carney (Pure speculation, but may want a last run at league and to play for Ireland at world cup?)
Doesn't fit with the young prospect talk though.

I agree. I think it's far better giving a talented local a chance than some has-been Aussie with two years to retirement...

I wasn't talking just about Pyrce, I'm saying we use the area more, unlike we have in the past. Pryce would be good signing but read the begining of the thread I don't think it's gonna happen.

I think people are getting confused.
Most people would like to see Pryce signed.
However, Mano suggests that is not going to happen.
If correct. Do we want a has been / never will be or do we prefer to give a youngster an opportunity?
Unless IL has unearthed somebody I am struggling to think of anybody who ticks the right boxes bar Pryce and we are in this thread assuming he is not going to happen.

The new player is about 23 he is from aus when i was told is name i did't know who he was they have signed him from a big RU club in oz and he is in wigan this week he as bin up to orrell to meet some of is new team mate.
